Many people do not understand all of the negative implications that toxic waste in their body can have. Toxicity in your body can cause your physical and mental health to decline. It can cause the health of your organs to gradually decline and can actually trigger chemicals that cause mental health problems like anxiety, depression, and other forms of stress.
Why should you cleanse your body? Everybody, no matter how healthy they eat, gets toxic build up in their system after many years of food accumulation. Not everyone has a perfect diet, and many times, unhealthy processed food which does not get digested properly can cause internal havoc within our system. For this reason, I’d be willing to bet that the majority of people (ninety-nine percent) could benefit from a cleansing their body.
How To Cleanse Your Body
To get started with cleansing your body, you can do a number of things. First of all I recommend eating healthier. Yes, that means making some diet changes you’ve maybe been avoiding like throwing away the processed and junk-food and getting some good old fruits and veggies in your diet. I personally recommend buying dark green veggies like lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, and beans. Other vegetables that I recommend for the process of cleansing your body naturally include: carrots, legumes, and peas.
Helpful fruits for cleansing include: Acai berries, bananas, apples, oranges, and pomegranates. I recommend that you go to the health store or organic food store and pick up some organic fruits and veggies in order to ensure that you get off to a good start with your cleansing diet. When doing a cleanse, most people also eliminate meats from their diet for a solid three weeks minimum. This is because meat products tend to build up inside your intestines and will create a roadblock towards getting your system flushed out. Some have said that meats even contribute chemicals to your system. It is definitely recommended to drop the carnivore mindset while you cleanse your body internally.
Cleansing Your Body - Purging Unhealthy Foods
After you’ve purged the unhealthy (what I like to call “garbage foods”) from your diet, there are some other lifestyle changes to be made during the process of cleansing your body internally. Various changes include practicing relaxation exercises such as meditation or yoga and things like going for light walks in nature. I find that doing these practices is essential to cleansing your body naturally due to the fact that they do such a great job at getting you in the right mental state. They also allow your body to reduce mental stress that the existing harmful chemicals within may have been caused.
I personally also recommend that you test out various herbs and nutritional supplements during your cleanse process. There are several that do a great job at aiding your body in the elimination of toxic accumulation. I’ve personally had great success with Psyllium supplements, but I am sure there are plenty of other products out that have similar effects.
During my personal cleanse experience, I supplemented Psyllium throughout the entire cleanse process and it seemed to do a great job at regulating my bowel movements. When you do a cleanse, be sure to keep up the healthy activities and dietary changes for a minimum of a couple weeks in order to receive some benefit. I personally like to go a full thirty days with my cleansing because I am able to accurately gauge how the entire process has helped me and whether I made any significant improvements in mental health or physical stamina.
If you have thought about cleansing your body, but never actually tried it – I highly encourage you to take the risk for a couple weeks and see what you think. If you cleanse your body internally, it will repay you with improved mental health, increased energy, and you will have a much stronger immune system than you normally would.
